A horror game about surviving a childhood nightmare until morning, with the Boogeyman hunting the protagonist and a flashlight as the only means of defence. Its beam can drive the creature away, but the batteries have limited power, so they must be conserved or replenished by searching under the bed.

The player searches the house for useful items, watches the Boogeyman’s hiding places and listens for sounds that may reveal its approach. The weather changes each night: rain muffles noise, lightning briefly illuminates the room, and blizzards make it difficult to hear. Lights can go out, and toys can come alive.
