A conditionally free mobile spin-off of Borderlands that retains the main features of the series — the signature cell-shaded graphics and a huge arsenal of weapons. Players have access to several types of activities, including story missions and the "Tower of Terror." There are four classes in the game: The Summoner, Exo-Tank, Outrider, and Assassin.
The game features a companion system: they can be sent on missions to collect currency, experience, and gear. This process is tied to real-time, encouraging gamers to return to the game regularly. There are also temporary events, the first of which is the "Circle of Slaughter." In it, players can earn keys to legendary chests.
