Bounty Bob Strikes Back! is a platform arcade game and a sequel to Miner 2049er. The player guides miner Bounty Bob across platforms while avoiding mutants. To complete a mine, every floor section must be crossed within the time limit, which paints it; the game features 25 levels and platforms with a slight 3D effect.

After a lost life, previously covered floor sections remain painted and defeated enemies do not reappear. This change from the original makes levels easier to complete.
