Bravada is a fantasy turn-based tactical RPG about a young dwarf who sets out with his bat companion to discover why his beard will not grow. Along the way, the player builds a team of allies, including former enemies, and commands units with distinct abilities and traits.

Combat is turn-based, while a fast control system lets the player set its pace. Units gain levels, evolve, and can choose a new specialization every fifth level. The game also features unit classes and an inventory, with a humorous story and descriptions of its elements.
