Breed is a futuristic action shooter set in 2610. After a war in the distant Besalius system, the protagonist returns to Earth and finds the planet occupied by hostile aliens. The only surviving human battleship is under the protagonist’s command, and the conflict far from Earth proves to have been a diversion.

The player searches for human survivors and helps organize resistance. The squad investigates the Breed’s weaknesses and strikes at the invaders, with the aim of annihilating them.
