Brushwood Buddies is a puzzle game in which creatures travel through forests, grasslands, and villages, asking for help crafting various items. The player discovers recipes and solves puzzles by managing inventory space and resources while keeping the traveling companions happy.

A variety of puzzles appear throughout the campaign. Challenge modes let players compete for rankings on the leaderboards, while a puzzle editor allows them to create and share puzzles using their own items and recipes.
