This run-and-gun action platformer follows Cally as she sets out to rescue her parents, who have been abducted by her nemesis Herbert. He has taken control of the Caves to conduct experiments, and Cally and her friends explore ten zones, search for secrets, fight enemies, and work toward stopping him.
Weapons gain levels through use and can evolve into forms with different effects, while character abilities such as the triple jump and dodge roll can be unlocked. Bera is also playable, using her moves to help solve puzzles. The game features a Metroidvania-style map with checkpoints, boss battles, a New Game+ mode with higher weapon tiers, and a Survival mode built around 150 waves of enemies.
