This open-world pirate adventure with survival elements follows Captain Bones, who begins as an ordinary member of a pirate crew. The player gathers materials to craft weapons and vehicles, builds a raft, and explores handcrafted islands. Naval forces are hunting the captain, while a curse often leaves him in difficult situations.
Building relationships with local people can help earn enough to acquire a ship and crew. The player must provide for the crew, take part in naval battles, and hunt for treasure, while deciding whether to sink ships or salvage materials from them. The aim is to become a captain and try to break the curse.
