Celebrity Bodyguard is a side-scrolling action game about protecting celebrities from attackers on the red carpet. Threats include paparazzi, stalkers, snipers, protesters and ninjas, while the stars are caricatured versions of real celebrities.

The player fights off attackers with guns and fists while escorting a celebrity, keeping their power up and stress down. If the star remains safe, they can unleash a special attack, and defeating enemies in succession contributes to a high score.
