This tactical fantasy game combines chess battles with story-based missions. After a northern dragon attacks the elven city of Silveran, warriors set out across Chessaria to seek justice and uncover the reason for the assault.

In Adventure Mode, the player fights through campaign levels and solves chess puzzles. Battles can be led with one of three armies—High Elves, Dark Elves, or Orcs—with heroes facing off against bosses. Missions include objectives focused on domination, infiltration, and assassination; classic chess and its variants are also available against AI or in local play.
