A multiplayer maze arcade game in which colourful Chompies chase one another and try to eat the character matching their target colour. The target appears beneath each character and changes at random, turning hunters into prey and vice versa. Eating opponents earns points, while being eaten costs them.
Local matches support one to four players, with AI-controlled opponents also available, alongside a separate single-player or co-op mode. Games take place in a variety of arenas and feature power-ups. In an additional mode, players switch their target between yellow and purple to eat the Blobbidees infesting a garden while avoiding the Queen Blobbidee.
