A first-person flight simulator in which the player takes the role of a test pilot and flies a range of real and experimental aircraft. The selection includes the Bell X-1, flown by Chuck Yeager when he broke the sound barrier, as well as fictional aircraft created by the developers.
Yeager served as the game's technical consultant, and his likeness and voice feature in commentary during flights. He also delivers brief remarks when an aircraft crashes.
