A camera customization mod for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival that modifies only the player's own first-person camera while preserving framing during cutscenes and scripted sequences. It features separate sliders for aiming down sights (ADS) and viewmodel framing (arms and held items), seamlessly scales dynamic in-game camera shifts, and runs standalone with full Ultrawide support.

Features:

In-game Menu — Dedicated in-game configuration overlay (F6 key) supporting mouse and keyboard input with live real-time preview.

Aim FOV — Independent FOV slider for aiming down sights.

Viewmodel FOV — Separate adjustment for first-person hands and equipped weapons/items.

FOV Effects Retention — Preserves native dynamic FOV shifts (sprinting, climbing ladders) scaled around your custom base FOV (can be toggled off).

Smooth Transitions — Configurable blend times for FOV transitions, ranging from instant to smooth easing.

Hotkeys Support — Quick-adjust keys (Page Up / Page Down with a small visual popup) and an instant toggle key (End) for quick A/B comparisons.

Ultrawide Friendly — Fully compatible with any screen resolution and aspect ratio.

Standalone Mod — Requires no loaders, UE4SS, or ReShade to function, while remaining fully compatible alongside ReShade.

Controls:

  • F6 — Open / close the configuration menu.
  • Page Up / Page Down — Adjust FOV by +1 / -1 (hold Shift to adjust by 5).
  • End — Toggle the mod on / off.
  • Menu navigation — Mouse or keyboard arrow keys; Right-click or Backspace resets a setting to default.
  • (Keybindings can be customized in HellraiserFOV.ini, located next to winmm.dll).

Installation:

  1. Open the game folder: in Steam, right-click Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival → Manage → Browse local files (the directory containing Hellraiser.exe).
  2. Extract the ZIP archive into that folder, preserving the folder hierarchy. Ensure winmm.dll ends up at Hellraiser\Binaries\Win64\winmm.dll (alongside Hellraiser-Win64-Shipping.exe).
  3. Launch the game, load your save file, and press F6.
  • Updating: Extract the newer files over the previous installation (your custom settings will be kept).
  • Uninstallation: Delete winmm.dll and all HellraiserFOV files from Hellraiser\Binaries\Win64\.
  • Linux / Steam Deck (Proton): Add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm=n,b" %command% to the Steam launch options.
