This adventure horror game with role-playing elements follows Delilah, a schoolgirl who takes shelter from a sudden downpour in an old mansion and encounters unexplained phenomena inside. As she explores the building, she tries to uncover its secrets and find a way to escape with her friends.
Coffin of Ashes has no combat: the player explores rooms, searches for exits, solves puzzles, and runs from danger. To reunite with her friends, Delilah repeatedly goes through a loop of events; the story description refers to 101 repetitions.
