Corsairs game series
"Corsairs" (less commonly Sea Dogs) is a series of games from Russian developers, telling about the adventures of pirates of the 17th century. They usually involve fierce naval battles, searching for treasure on unnamed islands, hunting merchant ships and completing difficult tasks from powerful representatives of different countries.
In "Corsairs" a lot of attention is paid to gameplay "on the water", as well as to the management of one's own resources and crew: the protagonist can have several ships in service at once, which is why by the end of the playthrough almost every battle becomes very large-scale and costly.
The main character can fight outside his ship: for this he has a melee weapon and a gunpowder pistol.
