Corsairs Game Series
"Pirates" (less often Sea Dogs) - a series of games from Russian developers, telling about the adventures of 17th-century pirates. They typically include fierce naval battles, treasure hunting on uncharted islands, hunting merchant ships, and completing complex tasks from powerful representatives of various countries.
A great deal of attention in "Pirates" is devoted to gameplay "on the water," as well as managing one's own resources and crew: the protagonist can have several ships at their service, which makes each battle very large-scale and costly by the end of the game.
The main character can fight even outside their ship: for this, they have melee weapons and a gunpowder pistol.
