CONSORTIUM

A first-person science-fiction role-playing game about a murder investigation aboard a Consortium command vessel in 2042. The player takes the role of Bishop Six, an officer of a global peacekeeping organization, tasked with investigating the crime while facing a group of mercenaries threatening the crew. The story unfolds aboard the ZENLIL, where the ship can be explored freely and its crew members approached for conversation.

Dialogue choices affect how characters regard the protagonist and shape the story. The investigation and the standoff with the mercenaries can be handled through diplomacy, lethal force, or non-lethal force; weapons do not have to be used. The protagonist’s equipment includes science-fiction weapons, gadgets, and armor, organized through an energy-based inventory system. Subsequent playthroughs allow different choices and outcomes.
