This medieval first-person dungeon crawler combines hack-and-slash combat with roguelike elements. In Crypt of the Serpent King, the player explores large, randomly generated dungeons inhabited by goblins, orcs, skeletons, giant spiders, and other underworld creatures. Combat uses a range of melee and ranged weapons.
Exploration also involves navigating hazards, including lava pits and spike traps. The character’s abilities can be leveled up, and loot can be collected along the way. Three difficulty levels are available, ranging from casual to hardcore.
