This side-scrolling space action game casts the player as humanity’s last line of defense against an alien invasion. Piloting a ship, the player fights off attackers and uses special weapons. Defender features three modes: XGP, an all-new version of the game; Classic, the original arcade game; and XG, an enhanced take on the arcade classic. The updated modes add new graphics, ships, weapons, and enemies. Two players can also join in cooperative or competitive play.
