A first-person tactical shooter about Delta Force, a secretive U.S. Army unit operating in dangerous locations around the world. In the single-player scenarios, the squad enters combat zones by air, land, and sea, tracks down enemies, and completes missions across varied terrain. The available equipment includes more than 20 weapons, as well as helicopters, tanks, and high-speed boats; weapon ballistics affect how shots behave.

The game features 10 single-player scenarios and five online modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Team King of the Hill, and Flagball. Multiplayer matches support up to 64 players. The MED level editor lets players build custom maps or recreate historical battles, with options to configure terrain, weather, lighting, buildings, and other objects.
