Detention is an indie puzzle game with horror elements and a side view. At Greenwood High School, located in a remote mountainous area, two students are trapped. The place they once knew has changed alarmingly, and they are haunted by evil creatures. To escape, they must explore a mysterious campus filled with sinister objects and puzzles.
A plot-driven, atmospheric horror film set in a fictional world in 1960s Taiwan under martial law. The game includes East Asian elements rarely used in games. Taoism, Buddhism, Chinese mythology — the game draws on local Taiwanese cultural references to tell a unique and terrifying story.
