This detective adventure puzzle game with hidden-object searches takes place in DinerTown, where Bernie the Bookworm is trying to become a real detective. He investigates lighthearted mishaps—from tampered jelly donuts to wild parties with the zoo animals—and may also uncover a mystery that affects the whole town.

Players search crime scenes for clues, use found items to narrow down the suspects, and identify the culprits. The game features 25 cases, each with several puzzles, 20 locations to explore, and four mini-games. Familiar DinerToons can turn up as suspects along the way.
