This turn-based fantasy role-playing game follows a party sailing in search of Dilmun, a legendary paradise. King Drake of Phoebus has outlawed magic, and magickers have been killed or exiled. When the party docks at a harbor in Dilmun, its members are arrested on suspicion of spellcasting and sentenced to life in a prison called Purgatory, with only their wits left to rely on.
The party explores the world and battles monsters with the aid of magic. The game features more than 60 types of monsters and 65 spells, while its combat system lets players set the complexity of combat resolution, determine spell strength and choose ranged-attack tactics. A paragraph book adds to the storytelling.
