Elefunk is a construction puzzle game about building structures that help elephants cross dangerous terrain. Across 20 levels, players use limited amounts of metal, wood, and rope to build and reinforce structures, accounting for realistic physics. Routes span ravines and rivers and pass through fire pits and swamps.

In Puzzle mode, players build from scratch, unlocking the next level when an elephant makes it across the ravine. Time Attack challenges them to finish a partially built structure before the elephants are released. In the two-player Deconstruction mode, opponents take turns removing pieces of a structure; a round is lost when an elephant falls.
