An add-on for Total War: Empire, this pack adds elite land and naval units from the 18th century to Empire: Total War. It includes six special forces units and three more exclusive elite units that were previously unavailable separately. The units include HMS Victory, Rogers’ Rangers and the Ottoman Organ Gun, and can influence the composition of an army or fleet and the tactics used in a campaign.
In the single-player campaign, units become available when playing as a particular faction or after taking control of a specified region; some also require sufficient technological progress. Their capabilities support different approaches to land and naval warfare, including reconnaissance, special operations and the use of heavy weapons.
