1047 Games ends active development of Empulse and Splitgate: Arena Reloaded
After ten years of building live service shooters, 1047 Games says its next project will look very different. The studio announced that it is ending active development on Empulse and Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, with both games moving to peer-to-peer hosting on September 3. Dedicated servers and matchmaking will be discontinued for both titles, but the studio says they will not disappear entirely, since players will still be able to host matches and find games through a server browser.

Titanfall-Inspired Shooter EMPULSE Launches on Steam and Xbox With No Microtransactions
Fast-paced online shooter EMPULSE has officially launched in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game is currently available on Steam with a 25% launch discount until July 1, while the Xbox version is priced at $20. The developers have confirmed that the price will increase once the game leaves Early Access.
