The mod creates a config file after the first launch and exit from the game. Damage, armor wear, and critical chance are set to 10% by default, and maximum health is set to 18. If this feels too easy, you can set damage/armor/crit to 50–70% and health to around 80–100 (default is 144). All parameters are shown as percentages, except maximum health, which is set as a fixed value.
