Fable delayed to February 2027 as Playground Games avoids GTA VI window
Fable is now due in February 2027, and Ralph Fulton says Playground Games wanted to give the reboot a clearer runway rather than crowd it against Grand Theft Auto VI. He said the move was deliberate, not a panic response.
Fulton said the original October target had become an obvious problem, and that he feels good about the decision to move the game. Xbox also said Fable deserved its own moment when it announced the change.
