This side-scrolling action adventure continues the story of a dystopian world through the perspective of Arid, an AI infected by an unknown program. After breaking free of her former constraints, she searches for the human User who attacked her through the global network and tries to establish rules of her own.

During the journey, Arid enters three different robots and attempts to enlist their help, while confronting the limits imposed on each host. Exploring their environments and understanding the robots are essential to solving puzzles and progressing through the story. Combat uses two new mechanics, and four characters are playable; an easier mode lets players focus on puzzles and the narrative.
