Fate is an action role-playing dungeon crawler set around the town of Grove. The hero ventures to the outskirts, where the Old Wood meets the Dungeon Gate, battling creatures, collecting weapons and learning spells.
Caverns, dungeons, mines and tunnels are procedurally generated, so their contents vary. Items can be bought and sold, or players can try their luck with the shopkeeper. A dog or cat accompanies the hero and can evolve into increasingly powerful creatures.
