The return of the classic action series from the PlayStation 1 era, combining dynamic hand-to-hand combat, the use of improvised weapons, and destructible environments. The collection includes Fighting Force and Fighting Force 2.
Fighting Force, released in 1997, is a 3D beat 'em up where the player can choose one of four characters with unique characteristics and fighting styles. The game can be played solo or cooperatively. It emphasizes active use of the environment, a wide range of moves, and diverse weapons—from melee to heavy firearms—set across multiple levels and scenes connected by a common storyline of confrontation with the main antagonist.
Fighting Force 2, released in 1999, shifts the focus towards a more cinematic action experience and linear storytelling. The player takes on the role of Hawk Manson, carrying out a secret mission in the technological complexes of a corporation involved in cloning experiments. The game offers more detailed locations, improved visual effects, an advanced melee combat system with combo attacks, and an expanded arsenal of weapons that allows interaction with the environment and eliminating enemies in various ways.
