A turn-based space strategy game with tactical combat in three-dimensional space, Flotilla puts the player in command of a fleet traveling through the galaxy. The journey involves fighting, trading, and exploring planets, with encounters that include bounty hunters and pirates.
Each new adventure generates a universe populated with randomized characters, items, and events. Upgrades and artifacts found along the way can be installed on ships, while battles reward maneuvering and attacks from different directions. The adventure can be played cooperatively in splitscreen, and Skirmish lets players configure fleets to battle another player or computer-controlled opponents.
