Gardening Mama

A gardening simulation featuring the heroine of the Cooking Mama series, who grows flowers, fruit trees, and vegetables. Using the stylus to tend the garden, the player manages soil conditions, applies fertilizer, and takes plants from seed to maturity. Care affects the results: flowers may bloom in different colors, and fruit trees may produce different kinds of fruit.

One mode focuses on growing a variety of plants, while another lets the player turn the harvest into items such as jam, a pressed-flower album, or pumpkin lanterns. A separate mode involves decorating gardens at a chapel, house, and store by making garden structures and planting flowers and trees. The game also features harvest contests for up to four players, trading crafted items, and options to change Mama’s costume and customize the game’s layout; further customization items are earned through performance in other modes.
