A science-fiction point-and-click thriller set amid an interstellar conflict, where decisions shape the fate of a crew and the people it is sworn to protect. The story follows Sgt. Burden and his team through six linked episodes, ranging from hostage situations and wilderness survival to preventing the use of a biological weapon and enduring torture.

Players solve narrative puzzles and moral dilemmas, deciding how to handle crises and whom to sacrifice for the mission. Choices affect the team’s wellbeing; for instance, the crew may have to weigh conserving food against the life of its weakest member. There are no clearly good or evil decisions, and failure brings judgment from the gods.
