Gothic 1 Remake

Oh! I just wanted to replay this miracle, but the outdated graphics stopped me. Well, now I’ll definitely wait for this remake to play through the game again, because everything else in this game is just great! waiting, waiting, waiting!!!

How long ago I completed all parts of Gothic, the developers are great for making a remake! I’m waiting, we’ll see what has changed...maybe they’ll change the quests *like in Mafia 1* I wouldn’t want to. It will be great if the graphics are improved and more quests are added...for variety! In any case, I will go through again with pleasure!

In fact, if you add responsive controls to the original Gothic, slightly rework the balance in the combat and make it more convenient, that would be enough for me.

Despite all the angularity of the visual, the original Gothic looks very nice even now, due to the fact that there is really cool art design, a colorful palette, it is pleasant. The game has a unique and cool game design and narrative - it plays perfectly (if you take the controls out of the equation).

I would just like a little more tweaked game mechanics and responsive controls.

I'm waiting for this remake, but I'm very afraid that they can ruin all the charm of the original Gothic, but there is hope.

I tried the demo and it was disappointing. They made some kind of blockbuster, with a chatty GG, Diego looking like Puss in Boots from Shrek and unusual combat. But, as I understand it, the authors have collected feedback and are ready to create what we are waiting for: our Gothic with a unique atmosphere and great content.

Really looking forward to this remake. I didn’t finish the first Gothic because the old graphics and animations are off-putting and hurt the eyes. This remake will give old players the opportunity to experience one of the best old games in a new way, and new players will be able to touch the masterpiece without discomfort

Although I became acquainted with the series relatively recently, I literally fell in love with it. The atmosphere that Gothic offers is indescribable. And recently I completely replayed the first and second parts.

Let's see what happens at the end. Maybe it will turn out something like a remake of Rezikov. Well, the game looks more modern. If it turns out to be a cool and good game, it will be good. Nowadays, opportunities allow us to make Gothic on a larger scale.

The second life of a cult game on a new engine, an expanded world, new hero capabilities. A very large number of Gothic fans are waiting for the game. The first two parts were simply great. Let's hope that the expectations will be justified and the entire Gotoman community will receive a wonderful gift in the form of a remake of the good old Gothic game.

I played the first Gothic, it seems, about a thousand hours. I've played it over 20 times because the game is great. She is lamp-like, she is, excuse me, gothic, original. You can come up with many epithets for the project, but what's the point if you can just try it? When the remake was announced, I was really happy. I don’t really trust the Nordics, but I trust the people who made Archolos, I trust the people who made Enderial.

Played the demo. I... Liked her. Yes, it doesn't feel like Gothic 1 fully, but I don't want to be obsessed with duckling syndrome and want to be open to new things. The combat needs to be beefed up quite a bit, of course. In terms of atmosphere and graphics, I have no complaints. It feels, you know, something so old, pleasant, old school.

In a word - I’m waiting)

How many people, so many opinions. Some people are looking forward to the release of this project, while others won’t even notice it. But both of them cannot refute the fact that this Gothic game, or rather its series, is a masterpiece of the gaming industry. Even with all its pros and cons, it is part of our lives.

I played the first part of Gothic and spent a lot of time there. I hope they keep the spirit of the game. Waiting and waiting

I know the old world of Gothic better than my own. This applies to both 1 and 2 Gothic. I'm really looking forward to the remake, at least the first review is not bad!

Judging by the new presentation on August 2, the release is just around the corner, the game is already worthy of polish, the developers have worked hard since 2019, the wait of many thousands of players will finally end and we will all immerse ourselves in Gothic 1 Remake in a new way!

I admit that I am a big fan of the original game, although I became acquainted with it somewhere in the early 2010s. I don’t expect a remake at all; the available demo material did not impress me, and in some places even upset me.
