A dedicated quality-of-life mod for Graveyard Keeper 2 that enables seamless repositioning of placed crafting stations, workstations, chests, stockpiles, and auxiliaries directly through the in-game Build menu. Instead of demolishing and reconstructing an asset—wasting resources and emptying containers—the existing structure is cleanly picked up and relocated with all internal inventories, queued tasks, and active operating states preserved intact. The tool relies on native build grid validation with color-coded feedback and rejection tooltips, supports mouse and gamepad navigation, and introduces optional force placement overrides.
Key Features:
- Native Build Menu Integration — Seamlessly adds a dedicated "Move" row directly into the Build menu interface without needing external keyboard fallbacks.
- Zero Inventory or State Loss — Preserves chest inventories, craft queue progress, active fuel, and processing states upon relocation.
- Broad Object Compatibility — Supports crafting tables, forges, storage chests, resource pallets, and auxiliary workbench extensions.
- Intelligent Grid Validation — Employs native grid snapping logic where definitions exist, alongside a safe fallback path for irregular assets.
- Color-Coded Feedback & Error Prompts — Real-time green/red placement overlays displaying clear explanatory reasons whenever placement is invalid.
- Rotation & Cancel Controls — Rotate assets on the fly with R and cancel moves instantly via Escape or Right-Click without disturbing the original station.
- Optional Force Placement — Allows bypassing placement checks via Shift + Left-Click (disabled by default via AllowForcePlace=false).
- Engine Optimization & Framework Ready — Operates with zero background world scanning overhead during gameplay, includes a toggleable HUD hint, and integrates optionally with the GK2 Mod Framework.
