Disney Unveils First Clay Concept Art as Kieran Culkin Leads Original Animated Film
Disney Animation has a rich tradition of wise mentors — Merlin from The Sword in the Stone, Phil from Hercules. At the D23 fan festival in Anaheim, studio head Jared Bush announced a project born from the opposite question: what if the next mentor turned out to be terrible at it? That's how Clay came about — an original animated film set to open in November 2028. The lead character will be voiced by Kieran Culkin.
