Unlocks the hidden DevIsland as a normal navigable island in How to Fish.
The game already contains DevIsland, but it is not part of the normal island navigation flow. Dev Island Unlocked registers it as an additional island and adds a dedicated cyan radar marker.
Features:
- Unlocks Hidden Island: Unlocks the existing hidden DevIsland.
- Sixth Island: Adds DevIsland as a sixth navigable island accessible by boat.
- Native Radar Point: Adds a radar marker designed in the game's native style.
- Distinct Color: Uses a dedicated bright cyan/blue radar color so it is easily distinguishable from standard island markers.
- Radar Visibility Sync: The radar marker follows the game's normal boat radar visibility rules.
- Preserves Original Content: Does not replace or modify the standard five islands.
- Configuration Support: Standard BepInEx configuration compatible with HTF Mod Manager.
Important: DevIsland is not moved:
- DevIsland contains content baked for its original world coordinates. This mod does not move DevIsland, its meshes, lights, colliders, SpawnManager, IslandHolder, or baked content. The mod only adds the navigation trigger and radar entry required to reach the existing scene at its original position.
Radar:
- DevIsland appears on the radar using a dedicated cyan color, making it easy to distinguish from original island markers. The radar remains controlled by the game itself: the DevIsland marker only becomes visible when the normal boat radar is active.
Configuration:
- After launching the game once, the configuration file is generated at: BepInEx/config/com.howtofish.devislandunlocked.cfg
Available settings:
- [General] Enabled = true
- [Radar] ShowDevIslandDot = true
- [Debug] VerboseLogging = false
If HTF Mod Manager is installed, these settings can also be edited directly from the in-game "MODS" menu.
Installation:
- Manually place the DevIslandUnlocked.dll file inside:
BepInEx/plugins/DevIslandUnlocked.
