Hyphen is an arcade action-puzzle game about guiding a constantly rotating stick through neon mazes filled with obstacles, enemies, and traps. Reaching the finish requires precise movement and careful timing; a mistake can send the player back to the start of a level.

The campaign contains 36 levels, and player-made stages offer further challenges. A level editor lets players create and share their own mazes, while community levels provide stages made by others. The game also includes bonus minigames and an original 11-track soundtrack.
