On January 13, Hytale entered early access — a long-awaited Minecraft-inspired project that Hypixel Studios had been working on for almost a decade. According to one of the company’s founders, Simon Collins-Laflamme, within just a couple of hours after launch the game had already been played by more than 2.8 million people simultaneously. The number is absolutely insane, yet entirely understandable.
