Inferius

A card roguelike from the first person, combining the aesthetics of Dante's "Divine Comedy" with the atmosphere of Lovecraftian horror. The journey takes place through the nine Realms of Hell, inhabited by nightmarish creatures and powerful Rulers, each of whom becomes a trial for the hero and his sanity.

The foundation of the combat system consists of Tarot cards of the Major and Minor Arcana. Battles take place at a card table, where cards form a hand, turn into Action Points, and allow you to play up to three Major Arcana on the field. Between deaths, the deck gradually improves, unlocking new opportunities for building your own strategy.

In the pitch darkness, the only source of safety becomes the Lantern, but its light is not eternal. Candles gradually burn out, sanity is put to the test, and each new descent into Hell becomes an attempt to progress further. Death here is just part of the journey to create the perfect deck and meet the final Ruler.
