A strategy board game about five clans competing for control of the Isle of Skye. Players expand their territories by placing tiles depicting hills, coastlines and mountains, raise livestock, produce whisky, and build forts and ships.
Each chieftain sets prices for tiles, deciding which to keep by paying and which to sell to opponents, and selects four objectives from a pool of sixteen. Games can be played solo against computer opponents, locally with other players or online, with an asynchronous mode also available. The rules and mechanics are based on the board game Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King.
