KARAKARA2 is a visual novel about people living in an arid land during the twilight of the human species, alongside hybrids known as the Others. Two people run a roadside diner and make deliveries; their familiar routine changes when they find a large suitcase by the road with an unmoving pink-haired girl lying on it.

The characters include Rebecca Valentine, skilled at household chores and horticulture, and Mari Mizuno, who trains as a ninja and helps guard the diner. The story also follows the characters’ daily lives in a world in decline.
