This fantasy game combines a role-playing campaign with real-time strategy, and the two parts can be played together or separately. In the RPG, the hero explores dungeons, searches for rare treasures, meets unusual companions and fights enemies across eight chapters. Eight differently equipped characters are available, and the hero develops over the course of the adventure.

The strategy campaign begins after Gallus is freed: with the support of loyal subjects, he sets out to return Prince John to his father’s kingdom and fight the forces of evil. It comprises 24 missions. The game also features separate RPG and RTS skirmish modes, additional maps, and cooperative and competitive multiplayer matches.
