This turn-based RPG follows a young man on his first day in Bright City, a bustling town on a fictional Australian island with a dark secret. As he looks for work and meets new people, he gets drawn into a mystery involving an absurd gang and a fanatical cult.

Combat unfolds in turns, but defeating each enemy requires completing a minigame tailored to that foe. The more than 100 challenges include rhythm games, shoot-'em-ups, memory puzzles and quick-time events, with some designed for characters who join the protagonist along the way.
