This turn-based role-playing game draws on Japanese dungeon crawlers of the late 1990s and takes place in a surreal Kowloon inspired by the Walled City. In this standalone prequel to Kowloon's Curse, set several months before that game, Tony serves a mafia group led by the enigmatic Inspector and tries to survive a life of crime while confronting his troubled subconscious.

Players can explore three districts of Kowloon or stay at home and browse KowloonChan. Combat is turn-based, with enemies having weaknesses to exploit. Tony's stats affect the choices and paths available, allowing playthroughs to differ.
