Set in an alternate medieval Europe, this tactical role-playing game follows a sixteen-year-old girl who has just passed her exorcism exams and joined La Pucelle, a demon-hunting squad. She and her companions encounter betrayal and beings that blur the line between human and monster.
Turn-based battles take place on maps with varying elevations, where holding the high ground affects combat advantage. The squad can bring up to eight units into battle. Dark portals let characters purify defiled ground and enemies; successful purification can hit multiple foes, prevent new enemies from appearing, and strengthen items during battle. Characters, skills, and items can grow with each turn. Items can also teach special magic, and defeated enemies can be converted into allies.
