This real-time strategy game follows a steam-robot civilization on a distant planet at war, with armored trains battling along its railways. After the theft of the great golden gear, trains set out toward the mysterious Hon-Ka-Du, crossing forests, deserts and volcanic regions.

The player commands trains, develops the economy using available resources and repels attacks by enemies and natural forces. Train sets can be combined, coaches detached, and trains sent to ram their opponents; new coaches are built at the depot. The campaign features 20 missions of varying difficulty, while weather and environmental hazards change along the way.
