Long Night is a third-person survival horror game about David, a teenager trying to make it through a night at an American summer camp in the late 1990s. After frightening stories told by four friends bring their hidden fears to life, the group is separated, and David sets out to find and help them.
Players explore the camp, solve puzzles that reveal the teenagers’ personal struggles, and take on side quests. Evading a pursuer involves making use of the surroundings, keeping David’s mental state balanced, and knowing when to run or hide. The game offers two play styles: Old School, without checkpoints or interaction icons, and Modern Gameplay, with assistance enabled.
