This story-driven adventure follows a married couple who move to a farm in 1947, once owned by the husband's parents. Writer Walter and his wife face financial trouble: he owes money to people in New York, while she suspects him of infidelity. When she discovers that his life is insured, the wife begins to consider murder.

Players choose dialogue options, interact with objects, and make decisions about planning the crime and disposing of evidence. Their choices shape how the protagonist carries out her plan and attempts to cover it up.
